2025 Surfaced Road Reconstruction Program (SRRP)

Project Description:

Road reconstruction to strengthen the existing base of the road, field and residential approaches. A new ASBC surface will be placed, all work to take place on Twp. 534 from RR 274 to RR 273.

Scope of Work:

This project includes reshaping and compacting the existing road materials, followed by placement of a new cold mix (ASBC) surface.

Updates:

September 18, 2025: Park Paving is onsite, there will be increased activity onsite. Please be cautious when traveling through work locations.

September 5, 2025: The 2025 SRRP has been awarded to Park Paving Ltd. Work is expected to start shortly. Traffic accommodation will be put into place with flaggers. Were work is taking place expect traffic to be reduced to single lane. Speed limits will be reduced to 30km/hr, expect delays when traveling through construction zones.

August 20, 2025: RFQ Submission to be evaluated in August 2025.

July 15, 2025: RFQ for awarding the construction process is in process.

February 2025: Drafting RFP

Consulting services (RFP) have been awarded to WSP, preliminary design is in the works with RFQ for awarding construction contract is in the works. To be awarded in August 2025
