2026 Surfaced Road Reconstruction Program (SRRP)

Project Description:

Road reconstruction to strengthen the existing base of the road, field and residential approaches. A new ASBC surface will be placed, all work to take place on Twp. 534 from RR 272 to 500m west of RR 271- Including the intersection at Twp. 534 and RR 272.

Scope of Work:

This project includes reshaping and compacting the existing road materials, followed by placement of a new cold mix (ASBC) surface.

Updates:

August 24, 2026: RFQ has been awarded to Central Civil Solutions, construction is expected to start early September and be completed by October 15, 2026

June 4, 2026: Preliminary design is in progress with construction anticipated for August 2026.

May 4, 2026: Engineering consultant services have been awarded, construction is anticipated for August 2026.

February 25, 2026: RFP to be awarded for consulting services – RFQ to be awarded for construction services
