Construction of Water Line Extension along 255 St (Township Rd 530A)

**255 St is closed under a staged road closure until November 8, 2025. See Road closure phase and detour plan below**

Scope of Work: 

Installation of approximately 1,000 m of water line via Horizontal Directional Drilling under Hwy 16A and open cut installation along 255 St.

Updates:

October 10, 2025: The 255 St project has now shifted to the Phase 2 road closure (see photos). Open trench water line and hydrant installations are ongoing along 255 St.

September 26, 2025: 255 St is closed under the Phase 1 road closure (see below). Horizontal directional drilling of the waterline across Hwy 16A is complete and open trench water line installations are ongoing along 255 St.

August 25, 2025: CKB Construction is set to begin mobilization for the 255 St Water Line Extension project. Single lane alternative traffic accommodations will be in place on 255 St.
