Road Reconstruction of 261st Street (formerly known as Twp Rd 531a), South of 114th Ave for ~ 150m.

Updates:
September 16, 2026: Construction is underway, ditch removals are completed, south half of roadway removals are completed and have started to rebuild the road structure on the south half of the project. The roadway will continue to be closed during construction, please continue to follow traffic and detour signage.
August 2026: Construction to start September 8th, weather dependent. Please see Construction Notification attached under Documents.
June 2026: Construction anticipated to start July/August.
May 2026: Construction Contract has been awarded to Knelsen Sand & Gravel Ltd. Construction anticipated to start in June/July.
April 2026: Construction RFQ has closed and evaluations are underway.
March 2026: Construction RFQ (Request for Quotation) has been posted.
March 2026: Construction RFQ has been posted.
January 2026: Design being finalized. Construction anticipated in Summer 2026.
