Parkland County has engaged MNP LLP to develop a Community Disaster Social Recovery Framework. This important initiative aims to enhance our community's resilience and ensure equitable access to social support services following disasters.
Parkland County experienced impacts from recent disasters, notably the 2023 wildfire incidents. In response, Parkland County has prioritized the development of a structured, inclusive, and action-oriented social recovery framework. The goal is to strengthen community resilience, clarify roles and governance structures, and improve the effectiveness and coordination of social support services. This project, conducted in collaboration with MNP LLP, incorporates best practices and extensive stakeholder engagement to ensure the framework effectively meets the diverse needs of our community.

Your responses will help us identify opportunities to strengthen supports and services across these areas, both during crises and in everyday moments of need.
Content Awareness: Some questions may ask about difficult experiences, symptoms of stress, or personal reactions to challenging events. These questions are meant to help us better understand common experiences and needs—they are not intended to diagnose or assess individuals. All data will be analyzed and reported in summary form only.
Confidentiality Notice: This survey is confidential, though not fully anonymous—we will ask some demographic questions to help us understand how experiences may differ across populations.
