Abandoned Vehicle Complaint Leads to Arrest

On May 26, 2023 Parkland County Enforcement Services received a complaint of an abandoned vehicle on Rge Rd 32A, south of Hwy 627. A Peace Officer started an investigation, locating the vehicle with two occupants inside. Further investigation determined the vehicle had been reported stolen in Grand Prairie two days prior. At the request of the Peace Officer, Parkland RCMP attended and arrested the two individuals for possession of stolen property.

Further investigation found the vehicle contained: ammunition, firearm magazines, methamphetamine, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.

This is a great example of residents, Parkland Peace Officers and the RCMP all working together to keep our community safe!
