Graded Aggregate Seal Coat

Project Description:

Parkland County has hired West-Can Seal Coating Inc. to perform pavement maintenance at the following four locations:

• D1 - Rge. Rd. 52, Highway 16 to Twp. Rd. 535 (County Boundary)

• D2 - Rge. Rd. 271, Twp. Rd. 514 to Twp. Rd. 520

• D3 - Rge. Rd. 32 (Duffield Road), Highway 627 to Duffield (CN Tracks)

• D4 - Twp. Rd. 515A, Rge. Rd. 271 West to End of Road

Scope of Work:

The work includes application of an asphalt binder (oil), followed by a thin layer of aggregate (gravel). The roadway is then packed and swept. There is no excavation, and all work is completed on the surface of the existing roadway.

Est. Start date: June 10, 2024 - July 2024

Anticipated Order: Twp. Rd. 515A, Rge. Rd. 271, Rge. Rd. 32, Rge. Rd. 52

Each location will take approximately one or two days to complete.

Updates:

September 11, 2024: All work is complete, and the one-year warranty period has commenced.

July 17, 2024: Majority of the work has been completed. Contractor to finish line painting at Rge. Rd. 32 and Rge. Rd. 271 by the end of July.

May 2024: Construction is anticipated to start June 10, 2024.

March 2024: Construction is anticipated to start July 1, 2024.
