Stage 2 Engagement
The purpose of Stage 2 Engagement is to confirm the River's Edge Development Area Policy direction through in-person and online engagement events.
Open House
When: Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Where: Clymont Community Hall
Drop in anytime to explore the draft policies, ask questions and speak with members of the Project Team.
Public Hearing and Council Readings
The River's Edge Development Area Policies are a proposed amendment to the County's Municipal Development Plan Bylaw 2024-22. The proposed rescinding of the Woodbend-Graminia Area Structure Plan is a removal of Bylaw 3-84. Both of these proposed Bylaw changes require a Public Hearing and Three Readings at Parkland County Council. The public will have the opportunity to speak in front of Council during the Public Hearings. Advertising for the Public Hearings will occur well in advance of the Public Hearing dates once the dates are confirmed.
Stage 1 Engagement
The purpose of Stage 1 Engagement is to inform the public of the project, gather feedback, and provide multiple options to chat with the Project Team.
Open House
When: 4:00pm – 7:00pm, Monday, June 8th, 2026
Where: Clymont Community Hall – Main Banquet Room
The Open House will use a drop-in format. Please join anytime throughout the event!
