Project Description:

Berm repairs and replacement of manholes and valves at the Wabamun Lagoon

Scope of Work:

Replacement of lagoon inlet manhole, control structure between facultative cell and storage cell A, and replacement of valves at Wabamun Lagoon. Berm repair was completed in 2024, only clean-up work remaining.

Updates:

October 1, 2025 – Project Complete. All deficiencies addressed and work will be monitored throughout the remainder of the warranty period.

June 18, 2025 – All construction and final walkthrough completed. Warranty now in effect until June 18, 2027.

June 4, 2025 – New Inlet structure installed and prepped for backfill. Control structure MH-097 removal completed, new control structure installed. Awaiting concrete for benching and thrust blocks prior to backfill.

May 28, 2025 – Inlet structure has been removed, forcemain bypass to anaerobic cell installed. Rebar layout installed and prepped for concrete pour of new inlet base slab.
