    On October 14th, 2023, a Parkland County Peace Officer conducted a traffic stop on a car traveling at 128km/h in a 100km/h zone on Highway 16A. Further investigation determined the driver's license had been suspended for driving while unauthorized in April, 2023.

    The vehicle was towed, seized and the driver was issued 3 violation tickets.

    On September 18, 2023 Parkland Village School Administration reached out to Parkland County Enforcement Services' School Resource Officer and advised that there has been a string of vandalism occurring over the weekends. Parkland County Enforcement Services will be increasing their patrols in the evenings and on weekends.

    On August 22, 2023 a Parkland County Peace Officer was targeting offences statistically related to crime, in an area identified as a high crime area by RCMP statistics. The Officer conducted a traffic stop and through their investigation identified an altered Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) plate and Sticker. Parkland RCMP were requested to assist and the vehicle was seized for further inspection by the auto theft unit.

    On July 14, 2023 Parkland County became aware of thefts from motor vehicles occurring in the Estates on Fifth subdivision. Parkland County Enforcement Services responded by conducting saturation patrols in the area over the weekend.

    If you witness a crime, please call 911 to report it to Parkland RCMP. If you have been a victim of property crime, please call 825-220-7267.

    On May 25, 2023 a Parkland County Peace Officer conducted a traffic enforcement patrol, targeting offences statistically related to crime on HWY 779 north of HWY 627. The Officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle and the subsequent investigation determined the vehicle was uninsured and the driver was operation a vehicle without the proper class license.




    As a result of the thorough investigation:

    • The vehicle was seized and impounded for 30 days
    • The driver was issued a violation ticket for driving without proper supervision
    • The driver was issued a summons for driving an uninsured motor vehicle

    On January 11, 2023, Parkland County Enforcement Services were made aware of a recent increase in crime in the Hubbles Lake area along RRD 14 between HWY 16 and HWY 16A. Parkland County Enforcement Services is responding by increasing our uniformed presence in the area, through patrols and operations.

    If you have additional information about one or more of these incidents, please call Parkland RCMP at 825-220-2000 and ask to speak with an Officer regarding recent break ins near Hubbles Lake.

    Update: as of April 4, 2023 Parkland County Enforcement Services have conducted 44 saturation patrols in the Hubbles Lake area to disrupt and displace crime.

    On October 27, 2022, Parkland County Enforcement Services became aware of increased and repetitive suspicious activity in the vicinity of TWP 514 between RRD 265 and RRD 275 as well as TWP 511 between RRD 265 and RRD 275. After review, it was noted there was also an increase in property crime in this area. Enforcement services responded by increasing uniform presence in the area through proactive patrols and operations.


    From October 27, 2022 to December 31, 2022, 14 saturation patrols were conducted in an effort to deter, disrupt and displace crime in the area.
