Construction is completed

Jackfish Lake Boat Launch and Recreation Area Boat Launch reconstruction project will improve access to the the lake for all users. This project will address the aging infrastructure and the continued drop in lake water level. The existing pads will be removed and replaced with a concrete slab that will extend deeper into the lake taking into consideration the current trend in the declining lake water level.

Update Nov 01, 2024: work has been completed and the launch is now open

Construction Begins: October 04, 2024

Anticipated Completion: December 20, 2024

During construction access to the Boat Launch will be closed.

Wabamun Lake Provincial Park

    We are pleased to announce that construction has been moving at a steady pace with no delays. We are in the final stages of the project and the launch will reopen earlier than scheduled. We anticipate one more week of work with the boat launch set to open before the end of October.
