Project Description:
As part of an overall wastewater rehabilitation program in Wabamun, the sewage lagoon will be rehabilitated. A storage cell berm that is slumping and compromised will be rebuilt and manhole and valve infrastructure that are deteriorated and corroded will be removed and replaced.
Scope of Work:
This project will involve the reconstruction of a storage cell berm, replacement of 2 manholes, 2 valves and infrastructure improvements within the sewage lagoon system.A contractor has been hired to perform this work in the fall of 2024 and spring of 2025. Fall work on this project is expected to be completed by November 30, 2024. Work in 2025 will be scheduled for completion by July 30, 2025.
All work will be confined to the Wabamun Lagoon property.

September 2024: RFS issued and awarded.
